- May/June 2017 the REA rudimentary design with a working title of "solar Parp" is selected for the Climate-kic bootcamp at the ECCI.
- August 2017 Angus 3D solutions helps to turn the garage built model into a 3D repetitive model with some speedy 3D printing and design assistance for the forthcoming competition (read the fully story on LinkedIn).
- Sept 2017 the founding company name 'WIRE' presents the final business idea at the low carbon Scottish final in Edinburgh.
- January 2018 added 3D design is commissioned from Angus 3D solutions.
- January 2018 The OrtuGen website is commissioned.
- Winter/Spring 2018 Scottish Enterprise provides IP advice and innovation support.
- May 2018 OrtuGen Limited is officially formed with assistance from Business Gateway.
- June 2018 4C design complete their innovation review.
- January 2019 Angus 3D solutions is commissioned to draw out the rapid prototyping desings from OrtuGen.
